17 Bible Verses Every Christian Woman Should Know

Saturday, March 11, 2017

I love the word because the anointing is on his word. The word carries the power that changes lives and situations. Storing up powerful scripture in your heart will help you when you need to connect with your value as a woman, your worth, your responsibility, or your restrictions.

Here are some verses to remember as you go along your journey as a Christian woman.

1 Samuel 16:7

“…The LORD does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart."

Refuse to see as the world sees. Begin to pray that God lends you his world view and his way of thinking. This will save you from a lot of pain, disappointments and bad decisions.

1 Peter 5:8-9

“…Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.'

In the middle of a painful season, its easy to think you are in it alone; because the enemy secludes you and alienates you from others. But knowing that you are not alone and many have passed through your route and come out alive, better and stronger gives you courage and strength to carry on, and walk through.

Revelation 12:11

“...And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death."

The power of pleading the blood of Jesus over every portion of your life is so important. Victory is found in the blood. The blood represents life and resurrects every dead situation we have surrouning us. When we testify of all of God's moves in our lives with others around us, we touch lives and re-align destinies that where about to be aborted by discouragement.

1 Peter 5:10

“…And after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself restore you, secure you, strengthen you, and establish you."

There is a reward waiting at the end of your test. You are not in 'class' in vain. God has a mandate for your trail and if you will just live through it, you will live to tell of it. Hold on!

Psalm 17:8

“…Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings.."

You are precious to God and he has a unique and distinct way of dealing with you, listening to you, loving you. He is intricately concerned about everything that concerns you and he has his covering of protection over your life. Stay in that knwoledge and let it give you rest as you walk through life.

Galatians 3:28

‘…There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus."

You are no lesser in God's eyes because you are a woman. You just have a different function, and in no way does that make you any lesser. Owning that reality and using it to empower you and not disimpower you will help you become the very best God has designed you to be. When you wish you were a man, you lack ambition and you have lost the plot of God's design.

Luke 10:41

"…Martha, Martha," the Lord answered, "you are worried and upset about many things, but few things are needed--or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her."

Put God first always. It is so necessary. There is no greater investment you will ever decide to make greater than maintaining your connection with God. At his feet flows rivers of life and pleasures forever more.

Galatians 5:22-23

“…But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness , gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.”

Love is the highest call. It is the more excellent way. And all virtues are founded on love. All the spirit seeks to promote is love and every good fruit it produces. When we make efforts to grow spiritually, and to start showing fruit, God honors us.

Psalm 139:14

“…I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

You are a product of God's idea. You resided in his spirit before you resided here on earth. You were created with perfection. You are 'good'. Someone thought you out carefully and knows you intimately. You are not a mistake. You are fearfully and wonderfully made! You were made a woman with purpose. God has an asignment for your life in the gender he has created you in.

John 16:24

“…Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete. As women we might look around and see what we desire and begin to experience a spirit of rivalry and competition. We might become envious not knowing that we do not have because we do not ask. If only we could ask! So many answers are hidden in our inability to 'ask'.

Isaiah 26:3

“…You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you."

Woman, your peace is hidden in your focus. As you keep your mind stayed on Jesus, he will keep you stable, able and sure footed. If only you could decide today to shift where your eyes are, you will start to experience an unexplainable peace that surpasseth all understanding! May that be your portion today!

1 Peter 3:14

“…Don't be concerned about the outward beauty of fancy hairstyles, expensive jewelry, or beautiful clothes. You should clothe yourselves instead with the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God.”

Decide today that you will constantly review how much time you invest in your outward appearance and compare it to your spiritual work. It is a wise introspection to always have as a Daughter of Zion. Your inside is more important that your outside. The body is but a cage that carries the soul around, so it can fulfil it's God given assignment. It is in your insides where all the victory resides. Do some 'inside' work starting today.

Titus 2:3

“…Similarly, teach the older women to live in a way that honors God. They must not slander others or be heavy drinkers. Instead, they should teach others what is good. Then they can urge the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.”

Older women, keep building up the younger generation despite their resistance. We need more and more woman who are willing to pass on the 'pearls of wisdom' down the line so that as the world gets more and more corrupt, we continue to preserve an uncorrupted seed.

2 Chronicles 20:15

“…Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God's.”

Rest in God's ability to fight for you. Woman are not called to protect but to be protected. As a woman, your power resides in your ability to trully walk out your femininity confidently. Own your uniqueness. You are not a soldier, you are a restorer of peace wherever you are. Allow God to fight many of your battles for you because in many cases, silence has the loudest volume. When you are constantly fighting, your dignity is constantly sipping away. Learn to bring your problems before God. He is ready to contend on your behalf!

Jeremiah 29:11

“…For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Im seeing God unravelling his plan over your life with clarify like never before. He will make it plain and remove any fog. He made you with purpose and you are here on assignment.

James 4:2

“…You do not have, because you do not ask."

We are an empowered generation of strong women that have lost their ability to ask. We sadly see this mentality siping into our relationship with God and corrupting God's order. God is a Father and a faithful provider. You could have been raised in a family where you were taught to work, toil, hustle, fend for yourself and refuse to be a kept woman at all costs. Well God is your keeper. Whe all is said and done, know that you are sponsored by grace and you are on heaven's list of dependants. Ask, because he is willing to give you. Only if you are bold enough to ask and trust.”

Isaiah 43:19

“…For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland God is opening up new seasons in your life.

They are exciting and filled with so much healing, hope, success and the manifestation of his kindness in every facet of your life. Believe it. Receive it and walk into it. He is making all things new. He has already began. Just open up your eyes to see...

1 Peter 5 : 9

“…Stand firm against him, and be strong in your faith. Remember that your Christian brothers and sisters all over the world are going through the same kind of suffering you are.

You are not alone. Find support and a place to confide when troubles surround you. And don't forget to come back with a testimony!
